Handover of 316 high-end serviced apartments in Makkah Clock Tower begins

Emaar Middle East has begun the handover of 316 luxury serviced apartments in the Makkah Clock Tower in Saudi Arabia. The high-end residences will be operated by Fairmont Hotels & Resorts which currently runs a hotel in the immense tower. The 601m-tall Makkah Clock Tower was designed by Dar Al-Handasah Architects for the Saudi Binladin Group and opened in 2012.

The 316 serviced apartments will be supported by a dedicated floor for prayer, a gym, business amenities, a medical centre, restaurants and a shopping mall. A selection of residences ranging from 40-230 sq m have been reserved for investors.

Ahmad Al-Kulli, General Manager, Emaar Middle East, said: “We are delighted to offer the limited collection in the tower on leasehold ownership. In addition, customers can benefit from the first-class hospitality provided by Fairmont Hotels & Resorts. They can also opt for a rental program with Fairmont, allowing them to leverage the global sales and marketing reach of the hotel brand.”
