500,000 sq m mixed-use Al Bayt 57 scheme in Saudi Arabia secured by Dewan Architects & Engineers

Al Bayt Development Company has selected Dewan Architects & Engineers to design its latest mixed-use development in the Middle East. Al Bayt 57, so called as it will be the 57th project for the development company, will encompass 500,000 sq m of space near Khobar waterfront in Saudi Arabia when it completes in 2015.

Across the 40,000 sq m site, Dewan Architects & Engineers have designed 9 22-storey towers to house a 5-star hotel, 1,500 luxury 2, 3 and 4-bedroom apartment units, Grade A commercial offices and a 25,000 sq m shopping mall. These facilities will sit on top of a 2-storey podium and basement with parking for 2,500 cars.
