CTBUH reveals regional winners of Best Tall Building Award

The Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH) has revealed the four regional winners for its annual ‘Best Tall Buildings’, in the categories Americas, Asia and Australia, Europe, and Middle East and Africa. The two winners of the 2013 Innovation Award have also been revealed.

The regional winners this year are:
The Bow, Calgary - Foster + Partners
CCTV, Beijing - OMA
The Shard, London - Renzo Piano
Sowwah Square, Abu Dhabi - Goettsch Partners

One overall winner of the ‘Best Tall Building Worldwide’ will be announced at an awards dinner on 7 November at the Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago.

The two winners of the 2013 Innovation Award will also be celebrated at the dinner. Taking home the prize this year will be the Broad Sustainable Building Prefabricated Construction Process and the KONE UltraRope.
