Foster + Partners exhibition to open this month in Kuala Lumpur

International firm Foster + Partners are due to stage their first ever architectural exhibition in South-East Asia this month. Entitled ‘Foster + Partners: the Art of Architecture’, the exhibition will run from 7 March to 12 May at the Galeri Patronus in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The exhibition follows other shows in Hong Kong and Shanghai and will take an in-depth look at the practice’s various projects. According to the architects, “Foster + Partners: the Art of Architecture will offer a unique insight into the workings of the studio” and information on a number of new projects in Malaysia will be unveiled at the show.

These projects include the Arcoris Mont’Kiara development, a mixed-use scheme which includes two terracing towers with retail, residential and office spaces, as well as the IB Tower, a 58-storey tower in the centre of Kuala Lumpur.

Visitors to the show will also be able to learn more about completed projects into Malaysia such as the award-winning Petronas University and The Troika. As well as finding out about Foster + Partners other international projects including the London Swiss Re headquarters, those attending the exhibition will be offered an intimate insight into the workings of the practice and be able to explore this through sketches, models and a special exhibit.
