The winners of the Manufacturing Leadership 100 Awards have been announced, rewarding innovative and exemplary manufacturing companies and individuals across the world. The prize-giving ceremony will be held at the 2013 Manufacturing Leadership Summit this May in Palm Beach, Florida.

The programme is split into a number of categories including: Innovation Enterprise Award which praises those who push the boundaries of product design through advanced technologies and demonstrate positive impacts on operating results and process efficiencies; Manufacturing Entrepreneur Award which celebrates those who have built a successful business from scratch or within an existing company; Turnaround Award which recognises those who have transformed failing businesses in these troubled times; and Game-Changing Technologies Award which showcases firms who have harnessed emerging technologies and applications in the production process.

Companies recognised in these prestigious awards include: Hardstone Construction for their application of 3D Technology in construction on Tivoli Village Project (Innovative Enterprise); Enterasys Networks - 3D printing and prototyping (Innovative Enterprise); IBM Corp. Inventory Management System (Global Value Chain); Thogus Products Co. (Game-Changing Technologies); and Safelite Glass Corp. (Sustainability).
