£130 sports facility in Zurich to be completed by London-based Caruso St John

It has been reported that UK firm Caruso St John has won an international competition to design the new home of ice hockey team ZSC Lions and volleyball team Volero in Zurich. To be located in the Altstetten Quarter, the £130 facility is to be funded by both sports teams. A shortlist of 12 practices is said to have included the likes of Bjarke Ingels Group and David Chipperfield who were beaten out by Caruso St John.
