The Master Jury for the next Aga Khan Award for Architecture has been announced. Run every three years, the Aga Khan Award celebrates architectural design that successfully addresses the needs and aspirations of societies in which Muslins have a significant presence.

The Master Jury will meet in January 2013 to select a shortlist of projects which show exemplary skill in this field. The schemes will then undergo a series of rigorous onsite reviews by independent experts before the panel meet again in June 2013 to select the final recipients. The Aga Khan Award carries a prize fund of $1m.
