Three awards for young studio AGi architects

Spanish-Kuwaiti studio AGi architects have been awarded a series of titles in the Middle East Architect Awards. A young practice, AGi architects was founded only six years ago by Joaquin Perez-Goicoechea, Nasser Abulhasan and Savador Cejudo and has offices in Madrid and Kuwait City.

Co-founder Perez-Goicoechea was given the title of Highly Commended for Principal of the Year, saying: “It is a pleasure for the entire team and myself to receive recognition in the Middle East market, from which we have been professionally active since the establishment of the firm in 2006.”

Also as part of the Middle East Architect Awards (which run throughout the year) the practice was awarded the Boutique Middle East Architecture Firm of the Year Award and its S Cube Chalet was selected as GCC Residential Project of the Year.
