Glowing tribute book complied for Frank McCurdy who passed away on 12 October 2012

Frank McCurdy of Burt Hill, a Stantec company, passed away at home on 12 October 2012 at the age of 77. Having enjoyed a long career at Burt Hill, McCurdy retired in 2002 but continued to sit on the Board of Directors at Burt Hill and Natrona Comes Together, a non-profit organisation dedicated to improving the quality of Natrona, Pennsylvania.

During his career, McCurdy worked with and for Burt Hill on a number of projects and was a valued member of the team which can be clearly seen in a tribute book compiled by Burt Hill and Stantec with glowing commendations from McCurdy’s colleagues.

“Frank played an important role as a mentor in the lives of many of us in the old Burt Hill organization,” says Anton Germishuizen, Stantec’s architectural practice leader in the eastern US. “He always seemed to have infinite wisdom, a steady hand, a rational position, and he never tired or angered despite challenging times. There was always a win-win with Frank.”
