Foundation stone laid at OBB Corporate Headquarters, Vienna

Work on the new OBB Corporate Headquarters in Vienna by Zechner & Zechner ZT GmbH is soon to begin after the foundation stone was laid this week. Due to offer flexible office space for 1,700 OBB employees, the 23-storey commercial building will be a mix of office and retail space.

The first five floors will blend retail, services, food and drink amenities, police and social services, with a series of staff rooms such as restaurant facilities and a conference centre. The S-shaped floor plan has been devised to sit with the existing form of Vienna Central Station which is in close proximity to the headquarters site.

Construction will be carried out by HABU, OSTU-STETTIN and BAI by August 2014.
