Mixed-use Manhattan building by Tange Associates to complete by 2015

Tange Associates has been awarded the design of an 11-storey, 7,000 sq m mixed-use building in the heart of New York City.

The building, located on Manhattan’s 5th Avenue just south of Rockefeller Center, is envisioned to provide spaces for high-end retailers on the lower floors while housing boutique offices for international finance and consultancy services on the upper floors.

Tange will develop a facade design that is both visually unique and technologically advanced to represent the high profile of the building’s tenants and their aspirations. The mixed-use development is due to complete in 2015.
