Five international teams have been shortlisted for a hospital extension in Koge, Copenhagen. The extension is due to measure 189,000 sq m and will expand the existing facility to almost three times its original size with 900 bedrooms in total. The five teams are HOK, BDP, Aarhus Arkitekterne, CF Moller, and Friis & Moltke. Construction is due to complete in 2020.
HOK Director, Andrew Barraclough commented: “Koge provides another great opportunity to provide a truly world-class facility. HOK’s healthcare work continues to grow in locations where there is recognition that demonstrable experience in realising innovative and effective healthcare solutions is valued and makes a real difference to patient outcomes.”
