Avanti Architects is opening a new office in Sao Paulo which will become its latest base in an expansion into Brazil. Avanti Architects Brazil’s mission is to establish itself as a leading design consultancy working in the fields of architecture, master planning and interior design.

The new company will add to Avanti’s broad portfolio of design for healthcare, education, commercial, residential, leisure and culture.

The UK directors have been joined by two experienced Brazilian architects to develop the practice in Brazil. The combination of Brazilian and British architects working together will combine local knowledge of Brazilian culture, conditions and construction.

Already there is considerable interest shown in the practice’s approach to sustainable design and for its experience of working on Public Private Partnerships which are just starting in Brazil.
