Goettsch Partners design Grant Hyatt hotel in Bogota

Details have been released of Goettsch Partners’ latest hotel design in Bogota, Colombia - the seventh in their partnership with Grand Hyatt. The architecture studio has previously collaborated with global hotel organisation Grand Hyatt in various cities including Guangzhou, Mumbai and Sao Paulo.

Working with local firm Construcciones Planificadas S.A., Goettsch Partners has conceptualised a 297-room hotel with 54 suites, multiple restaurants, a lobby lounge, a patisserie, a 10,800 sq ft ballroom and 13,200 sq ft of additional meeting and event facilities. The new Grand Hyatt Hotel in Bogota will form part of the Ciudad Empresarial Sarmiento Anugulo; an 18-building-strong mixed use development in the city.

James Goettsch, FAIA, President of Goettsch Partners, elaborates: “We are all excited about our new collaboration with Organizacion Luis Carlos Sarmiento Angulo. Our goal is to design a facility that will showcase the forward-thinking approach of our client while reinforcing the culture and rich heritage of Latin America.”
