Olympic East Village E20 sponsors campaign to enhance character development in children

A ceremony will be held tomorrow to celebrate the efforts of young people in London who have taken part in the INSPIRE>ASPIRE campaign which stems from the Olympic and Paralympic Games. The scheme uses the Games as inspiration to run a programme which helps build character development through the Olympic values of friendship, excellence and respect, and the Paralympic values of courage and determination.

The programme is sponsored by East Village E20, the first completed legacy neighbourhood of the London 2012 Olympic Games. The public will be able to experience the East Village through and experiential pod which will take them through a new academy school, state of the art leisure facilities, open parkland, a health centre, and residential communities.

One hundred top students to engage in the programme will have their work displayed at the pop-up INSPIRE>ASPIRE booth and will be presented with bronze, silver or gold medals at the event tomorrow.
