The summer holiday destination favoured by President Barack Obama and his family has been purchased by Lord and Lady Foster. An estate in Chilmark on Martha’s Vineyard called Blue Heron Farm incorporating a golf course, stables, orchards, boat house, swimming pool, tennis and basketball courts, and various gardens, was purchased by the British architect for £14.3m. The Obamas used to pay £32,000 per week to rent the property however the estate has not been put up for rent since the British architect finalised the sale.
