Architects find OJEU 'too much effort'

A recent AMA/BD Procurement survey (full details can be found here) found that UK based architects are not confident in the Public procurement process.

Responses from 427 small to medium sized organisations, both client and professionals, listed the following as some of the reasons as to why it is not the best procurement method:

Arduous to complete
Tick box exercise
Expensive
Time consuming
Discriminates against small to medium sized practices

The feedback for how to improve the procurement method were wide ranging but overall, users want it to be simplified, standardised and better regulated.

WAN Business Information provides a subscription service offering an easy to read and use OJEU database. Our team of researches collates all of the relevant information and filters directly to your in box.
