American Institute of Architects and International Trade Administration plan trade mission to India

A trade mission is being planned by the International Trade Administration and the American Institute of Architects to visit India this coming October (14th-19th) to foster new professional relationships between American and Indian architects. A selection of forward thinking small or medium sized US firms will take part in the trade mission, which will visit Chennai, Kolkata and Bangalore.

Francisco J. Sanchez, Undersecretary for International Trade, details: “This trade mission will help innovative US architectural design firms develop new business that will support jobs and economic growth in both our countries. India requires significant outside expertise to meet its ambitious targets, and US industry is well qualified to supply the kinds of architectural services and project management skills needed to successfully tackle major initiatives.”
