Quote of the Week

It seems it’s not only the entrants to the WAN AWARDS that get a buzz from the experience, as Darius Umrigar, Education Sector Director at Devereux Architects told us at this year’s Education jury meeting: “As I was leaving for work this morning, I mentioned to my wife that I was going to be on an awards panel for half a day but that I was struggling to afford the time. She told me to go and just enjoy it. I have to say that during the morning, examining the diverse selection of education projects from around the world, I remembered why I became an architect. Very inspiring.”
