AECOM appoints David Glover as Deputy Chief Executive of Building Engineering

AECOM announced today the appointment of David Glover as Deputy Chief Executive of Building Engineering, with specific responsibility to lead the business line’s Global Market Sectors.

“David has impressive international experience and expertise in designing and delivering high-performance buildings,” says Fred Werner, Executive VP, Global Business Lines, for AECOM. “As part of our continuing investment in Building Engineering and Sustainability, David’s appointment is a further example of AECOM’s commitment to excellence. We are delighted that he will be joining us.”

“With over 4,000 building engineering professionals across Europe, North America, Middle East, Asia, and Australia and New Zealand, David’s strong relationship with corporate clients and international signature architects will bring significant momentum to our business globally,” says Ken Dalton, AECOM’s Chief Executive of Building Engineering.

A structural engineer, David joined Arup in 1989 and was previously Deputy Chair of its global Buildings Sector as well as the leader of its London Building Engineering practice. He most recently was Chair of Arup’s Global Property Market.
