Following on from the huge success of the inaugural WAN AWARDS in 2009 which attracted a staggering 684 entries from around the world, we are delighted to announce the opening of the 2010 AWARDS.

We are now rolling out this year's bi-monthly programme of INTERNATIONAL AWARDS BY SECTOR. We will be drawing on last year's top jury panel of top industry experts and adding a few exciting new names to ensure that the WAN AWARDS deliver a tangible value for the architect.

Due to the logistical complexities of organising a truly global awards programme, WAN has broken the mould of the traditional annual event (surprise) and opted for a rolling programme which enables us to better work with specialist international panels experienced in the appropriate sector throughout the year and give more attention to and gain a better understanding of the projects. The running order will therefore follow the same format as 2009.
