Rafael Vinoly’s controversial tower proposal for 20 Fenchurch Street in London has polarised the architectural community into two opposing camps:
FOR
Top architects: Norman Foster, Richard Rogers, Cesar Pelli, Eugene Kohn and Frank Gehry.
AGAINST
English Heritage, Unesco, ex RIBA president George Ferguson, London’s influential Sunday Times architecture critic Hugh Pearman.
The scheme is currently under public enquiry.
