Gareth Hoskins Architects completes the Robin House Children's Hospice in Balloch

Robin House is Scotland’s second children’s hospice, providing respite care and facilities for terminally ill children and their families. Located in the sensitive setting of Loch Lomond National Park, the new building’s accommodation is arranged around a glazed internal courtyard, which houses brightly coloured play rooms, with the necessary back-up facilities, admin and staff accommodation, hydrotherapy pool plus an education suite. The building is domestic in scale offering a warm and friendly atmosphere, yet is modern, bright and fun.
