Shaped by two long bars along the natural contours of the site, this residence offers an horizontal promenade in the midst of the forest. Resting on the juxtaposition of contrasted environments, an opaque volume stretching along a lakefacing glass box defines open spaces, structures the circulation and the organization of the internal functions. In
reference to the presence of the lake and in alignment with its shore, a series of internal parallel planes punctuate and structure the layout of the common areas. The generous use of vertical and horizontal glass panes and numerous reflecting surfaces insure the continual intrusion of nature, as well as its highlighting through a succession of unique views magnifying the presence of the surrounding greenery into the house.
