Single Familiy House
The intention was to put the house into the agricultural meadow, whilst weaving it into the terraced landscape. Concrete allows the seamless penetration of the hill. A longitudinal room in the east west direction, a permeable layering of the space transverse to the south slope and the plumb line of the entrance room make up the spatial composition. The daily movement throughout house follows the path of a promenade architecturale. The pavilion defines an outside space, connecting itself spatially with the house and optically with the city centre. Panels and slabs of raw concrete form and separate space, connect internal and external space, light, shade and protect. Seamless, flush fitting glass panes support this spatial effect.
