To create a simple contemporary healthy house built with prefabricated elements following green building guidelines
Site: The project is located in a residential area in Santa Monica, a few blocks away from the beach on a small hillside with a breathtaking view over the Pacific.
Design: The design idea is to create a simple contemporary healthy house with prefabricated elements following green building guidelines. The project is a box like shaped house with an inner courtyard for privacy and same size openings on all sides.
Construction: The main structure of the house is a combination of different steel moment frames, metal joists and prefabricated concrete panels. In order to keep the process easy, fast and cost efficient all the walls are the same size.
