Horizontal lines against the natural rocky promontory, local stone, deep green olive groves and endless blue sea
The houses are contemporary and mediterranean. Each house ( there are approximately 12, with a few more currently in the planning) is no less than 9000 sq feet and includes a swimming pool and careful landscaping to preserve the greatest privacy with maximum exposure to a view of the sea, which is just about everywhere. The initial idea was to provide a compound, with a single entry and a place to leave one’s car for the duration of the stay. A stone walkway wide enough to accommodate a golf cart wraps its way around the entire compound, linking the houses along the way, and each homeowner moves about using only a golf cart when not walking. The golf cart is the only sound of transport one hears, outside of footsteps and the raising and dropping of anchors at the start and end of a sailing day.
