Two new hospitals are to be built in the West Indies

London based Devereux Architects have been selected as preferred bidder for two new hospitals in the Turks and Caicos Islands, part of the British West Indies. The hospitals, sited in the islands of Grand Turk and Providenciales, are local general hospitals, which will provide a full range of services to the population of the seven islands. In this PFI, Interhealth Canada, based in Toronto, will develop the hospitals and provide a comprehensive range of health services for the 25 years of the contract. The Turks and Caicos new hospitals are designed to the latest standards to provide the most up-to-date and compehensive health facilities.
