ADP receives Civic Trust Commendation for the 'meadow project' at Roffey Park Institute, Horsham
The 'Meadow' provides specialist management training facilities in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
The Judges commended the scheme, stating: 'The successful manipulation of scale and proportioning, elevational composition, and selection of materials have created a building that is timelessly elegant and relates well to its rural context.'
ADP created 60 en-suite bedrooms, a new reception area, lecture space for 120 with four additional break-out rooms and a restaurant. The design responds to the rural location, integrating the new buildings with their surroundings by applying a colour palette and textures taken from the landscape to all elements of the scheme.
