London based Jestico + Whiles have designed a brand new development of 10 new buildings containing 87 Luxury apartments on the Koliba hillside overlooking the city of Bratislava. The concept for the project is development of a series of high quality contemporary family villas located within a terraced green park environment, with all villas having exquisite panoramic views across the city and towards Bratislava Castle. The sustainable project design in Slovakia includes highly insulated building envelopes, maximized south and west glazed facades with carefully located balconies and terraces to provide summer solar shading, green roofs, natural timber and local stone cladding, and recycling of grey water for natural irrigation of the park environment. Apartments range from 1 bedroom apartments with private gardens or balconies, to 4 bedroom luxury penthouses with 100m2 terraces and roof top lawns.
