The UK’s Olympic Delivery Authority (ODA) launched its Procurement Policy this week
It has been developed through consultation with major stakeholders involved in the commissioning and delivery of the London Olympic and Paralympic Games in 2012. The Policy will be open to public consultation until the autumn. The ODA is due to announce the appointment of its Delivery Partner later this summer. A crucial part of the Delivery Partner’s remit will be help to develop the detailed operational procedures and codes that will govern procurement activity on a day-to-day basis.
