London based Jestico + Whiles were interior designers for this 14 floor, 286 room Hilton hotel part of the Discovery Dock West development at South Quay.
The ground floor comprises of reception, lobby bar and restaurant, pools of light and contrasting textures emphasise features and define zones.
The reception desk, a simple block of honed stone, the bar a lucent pond green glass and the staircase, encased in shimmering mesh. A rough wall of moss and rust coloured riven slate runs its full length, studded with glowing panels of green glass, carved away to enclose suede-lined snugs and niches.
The bedrooms are of equal style, with bathrooms in warm stone finishes and coloured glass.
An executive sky lounge has stunning views down to St Paul’s Cathedral.
