An international competition to design the new headquarters for ThyssenKrupp has been commissioned.

Real Estate GmbH, is sponsoring an international, two-stage architectural competition to design the new ThyssenKrupp Headquarters as well as other office and administrative buildings, the ThyssenKrupp Academy, a Conference Centre and a hotel. The project also includes other uses with a total of approx. 100,000 sq m of gross-floor area (GFA). The ensemble is to be executed as an outstanding piece of innovative architecture. The prize money amounts to a total of 260,000 Euros and the jury will be composed of distinguished architects, specialist planning professionals and representatives of the Sponsor. Online registration for participation is open until June 30, 2006.
