TAG Aviation's new business airport designed by REID architecture

HRH the Duke of York opened the new terminal and operations building at TAG Farnborough Airport. This building was designed as the operational and administrative center of the airport, which is located in the historic site of famous air show. It has curved external skin clad in mill finished alminium shingles which enclose layered office, 3 dimensional oval bowl main atrium, customer lounges, and conference facilities for business travellers, and it makes the building look like one massive object. This third project of the masterplan will play a significant role in fulfilling TAG Aviation's ambitiion to make it the most modern airport dedicated to business aviation in Europe, together with Air Traffic Control Tower and Hangars which have already been completed by REID architecture.
