Jestico + Whiles complete 3 cinema multiplexes in India
The Hindi cinema phenomenon, Bollywood continues to prosper and London based architects Jestico + Whiles have recently completed cinema complexes in three thriving areas, Juhu, Hyderabad, and Mulund.
Each multiplex has 5 or 6 screens with 750-1500 seats, and a food court inside of the foyer, which was designed to enhance the visitor experience and maximise the time spent within the complex. (In India, visitors often span three generations). Curved lines and south India's vibrant colours which are used in all the multiplexes give them a futuristic atmosphere, harmonized with artworks by professional graphic designers.
These new multiplexes will give visitors new and exciting experiences of cinema-going, and will keep the genius of Bollywood which was given birth in Mumbai.
