Land Securities to build mixed-use complex in shadow of St Paul’s.
Jean Nouvel’s ambitious development adjacent to St. Paul’s Cathedral is being considered by planners. The complex will provide 20,000 m² of retail and 31,000 m² of office space. The project is in one of the most sensitive areas of London adjacent to the east transcept of Wren's masterpiece. The Dean and Chapter of St Paul’s, the Greater London Authority and the Commission for the Built Environment are all believed to be backing the scheme. The site at One New Change will be Nouvel’s first project in London. Michael Hammond
