Brunswick Developments Group submit new planning application for a major development at Brighton Marina
The Wilkinson Eyre design includes a 40 storey tower with public viewing gallery and a swing bridge, creating a 2km walkway around the Marina. The scheme proposes an exciting future for the site, with 853 apartments, 28,000 square feet of commercial space, extensive leisure facilities and in total 11 buildings varying scale and character.
The application, submitted this week, follows the decision to refuse the previous application in November
Measures will be in place to achieve a 25% reduction in domestic water use and a 40% reduction in CO2 emissions. In addition, all properties will be built to the Lifetime Homes standard, to ensure they are adaptable for people’s needs as they become older.
