Gehry’s designs for Hove – latest plans

More details are emerging of Frank Gehry’s flamboyant addition to the Hove seafront in the UK as a planning decision looms. The project being developed by client Karis will see the demolition of the tired King Alfred leisure centre and the replacement with a state of the art sports and swimming complex designed by HOK. The cost will be part funded by surrounding ‘enabling’ development including 745 apartments, piazzas, restaurants and retail units.
