Europe's largest inner-city regeneration scheme

Plans by developer Argent for one of Europe’s biggest inner-city regeneration schemes have been approved by Camden planning committee. The £2bn mixed-use proposal for the former notorious red-light district will cover 67 acres of railway land and include 1,700 apartments, two schools and two heath centres. Some flats are planned to be housed inside the iron rings of the huge gas holders, a reminder of King's Cross's industrial heritage. Shown here is the proposed Granary Square.
