Building Four forms part of Liverpool’s Central Business District. As lead designers and master planners of this area, RHWL have set new standards in delivering sustainable urban regeneration. This flexible mixed-use scheme offering approximately 1.5 million sq ft of commercially led development is central to Liverpool’s economic future. The design of Building Four is a contextual response to an environmental brief, generating 10% of energy needs from on-site sources, whilst developing solutions which reduce energy consumption by 25%. A flexible, multi let, low cost office solution, may appear at odds with a highly specified, energy efficient, green building, but our design shows they are not mutually exclusive.
