like to see architectural drawings, how the campus has an advanced system for harvesting .

Located in the verdant hills of Kunnamangalam, Kerala, IIMK is emerging as an internationally recognized institute of higher learning. The campus is a fusion of nature and technology. The traditional Kerala architecture is typified by tiled ceilings and local material including granite at the base and terracota tiles on the roof. Designed to merge with the topography, the buildings are set at different levels. The campus has an advanced system for harvesting rainwater throughout the area and a water-treatment plant ensures a self-sufficient water supply. Soil erosion due to construction activities is prevented by using geo textiles as a base for growing grass on the slopes. The campus features a library and computer center, a 250 seat seminar hall, a 1,000 capacity amphitheater, a 3000 sq m auditorium, hostels for students, guest houses and faculty quarters.
