Istanbul’s first true contemporary gathering space
Istinye Park is vibrant new retail and entertainment destination situated above a natural topographical “amphitheater” of master-planned mid-rise residential neighborhoods. The project consists of three conceptually and architecturally distinct elements – a grand central entertainment rotunda, an open-air lifestyle center and a glass-roofed indoor retail area – combined into one multifaceted omnicenter. Master-planned on over 13 hectares, Istinye Park encompasses roughly 82,000 square meters of retail, restaurants and entertainment venues serviced by four levels of sub-grade parking – nearly 4,000 spaces – with available valet service. the omnicenter includes everything from a gourmet supermarket to a 10-screen stadium-seating cinema. The centerpiece of Istinye Park is the Grand Rotunda, a dramatic arena-like space beneath a scalloped/segmented roof structure. Supported by a central exterior mast and suspension cables, this 100-meter-diameter hard-shell “canopy” encloses a food court, cinema, themed retail and amphitheater.
