A complex extension to design hotel in Hinterglemm by Monika Gogl

Just before the New Year, Hotel Wiesergut in Hinterglemm/Salzburger Land was re-opened after a complex renovation and extension. The architect selected for this job was Monika Gogl who created a unique addition to the existing hotel which merges in with the surrounding landscape.

The goal of the architectural concept was to upgrade the existing traditional structure with puristic architecture. Monika Gogl therefore worked very consciously with contrasting materials such as local wood, natural stone, granite, glass and exposed concrete. The timeless style created puts nature at its centre.

Alongside the planning of the building complex, the office and its entire interior design was also commissioned to be designed by Monika Gogl. Numerous items of furniture and individual pieces were individually created. The specialised nature of each piece optimises their functions and abilities with much attention to detail. As a result a harmonic interior design has been created which has an overall elegant impression.
