BLVD designs a waterfront 'Eco Experience' in Suining City
Located at New Hedong Area close to Fu River, this project serves as the bridge between new town and old town. Its design fully reflects ecological characteristics, with the aim of developing Suining City into a modernised international landscape city.
Abstracting from the concept of 'Dance', this project seeks a breakthrough in culture, business, space and ecology. The beautiful waterfront is interpreted as a ribbon, linking 4 functional zones together: Sport Leisure Zone, Eco Experience Zone, Fashion CBD Zone and Green Theme Zone, which the designers describe as 'dancing out the soul of the city'.
With advantages of waterfront space and existing wetland, a natural Eco Park is created incorporating the natural wetland, wild animal habitats, holiday clubs, science education centres and so on. The original natural elements are preserved as much as possible, alleviating the burden on the environment.
The design reflects the exchange between human and environment, creating a harmonious ambience for dialogue between the two, maintaining the integrity of the local environment and enhancing the overall city quality and image. This waterfront boulevard, Wucaibinfen Road, meets the needs of Suining city citizens in all aspects of environment, culture, tourism and economy.
