AD+RG design takes the city back in time
Old Hong Kong at Ocean Park Hong Kong is a themed area, which captures the scenes of the 50's to 70's of Hong Kong. Iconic features of the period such as 'old tenement houses', 'old tram', 'traffic police pagoda' and 'old street lights' are recreated to bring back the collective memory.
The décor is authentic, realistic, with appropriate level of details. Sustainability and universal design are embodied, accessible to both people with or without disabilities. The project allows all generations of the local residents to experience the Hong Kong streetscape in the past and also help the visitors to understand and appreciate the local culture, heritage and architecture.
