Entrance flooring for when first impressions and performance matter

Floorometry® by Construction Specialties, Inc. (C/S) is a rule-changing, modular entrance flooring system developed to make a statement in the finest buildings' entranceways. Introduced in September 2009, the Floorometry concept emerged from years of collaboration with architects, interior designers, facility managers and installers. Construction Specialties' research confirmed that these individuals wanted a wider variety of material options, easier installation, more convenient maintenance and modular flexibility in entrance flooring systems for high-end/landmark buildings. They were also seeking a departure from the linear look that still dominates the market 43 years after C/S introduced the ever-popular Pedigrid® and Pedimat® (Pediluxe®) entrance flooring products.

C/S Floorometry is an evolution that categorically delivers on the wishes of these professionals. The Floorometry product offering is broken into four models, each with distinct customizable geometric configurations. Each model utilizes high-end finish materials like stainless steel grids and weaves, granite, marble, terrazzo tile, a vibrant palette of recycled rubber and many other possibilities.

The system's 18"x18" modules are constructed using state-of-the-art technology. The system installs like a conventional tile with one difference: the top surface is easily detachable from the base, making maintenance easy. Floorometry delivers on function too. It traps dirt and water at a building's entrances, thereby reducing maintenance costs, improving safety, extending the life of other floor finishes and improving indoor air quality. Floorometry is also manufactured with highly recycled and recyclable materials and contributes to Materials and Resources credit 4 and Indoor Environmental Quality credit 5 in the USGBC's LEED® green building rating system.

With nearly limitless design freedom, National Floor Safety Institute (NFSI)-certified Floorometry gives architects the product they want to create a stunning first impression, all while ensuring uncompromised performance.
