It's looking good , Trabzon need a complex like that ...

NKY Architecture design new stadium on old site

Although Trabzon is a small town, its own football club Trabzonspor has been the champions of the Turkish league for a several times and participated in a lot of European cups. Since its establishment in 1961, the team has been playing its home games in Avni Aker Stadium, close to the center of the city. However, this stadium has been worn out in the previous years and it cannot ensure the desired comfort, both for the players and the spectators. To overcome this issue; a sporting complex, consisting of a 35.000 capacity stadium, Yavuz Selim football field for amateur players and an indoor sports hall with a capacity of 3.500 people is designed by NKY Architecture, on the same site as the existing stadium in order to prolong the urban memory and the football cult in the town. A variety of supporting functions like car parking, shopping kiosks, cafes-restaurants, administrative spaces, places for amateur sportsmen and other sporting areas (boxing, karate, and bowling) are introduced.
