From yet seen buildings where qbiss air is applied, have to say that the product is reflecting a path in to the future of good, quality and functional product which will draw the picture of the city .

One of the most scientifically advanced facade systems available, Qbiss Air uses advanced thermodynamics to eliminate the need for solid insulators 

It's unique design incorporates a gas filled multi-chamber core, which is sandwiched between an exterior skin of glass, stone, ceramic or high pressure laminate and a reinforced gypsum plate on the interior. Its Wall thickness/Thermal performance ratio is at least twice as good as any other façade system which means it maximizes the internal footprint whilst providing exceptional thermal performance.
Its unitized design facilitates fast installation from within the building so no external access is required.

Technically, Qbiss Air comprises a gas filled core with an "effective" thermal conductivity (λ) of 0.017 W/mK. The separation between outer and inner mineral boards provides sound insulation in excess of 48 dB, while the inner board provides fire resistance to at least 60 EI.
There is also a connecting polymer profile between the two boards that enables self load carrying of the panel and appropriate wind load rigidity.

The system also incorporates an internal structure allowing self-spanning between floor slabs.

The overall U-value of the basic element with 100 mm core thickness and frame system is 0.25 W/m2K which is comparable to traditional 300 mm thick, framed mineral wool.

A wide range of materials and designs (glass, HPL, stone, ceramic) are available as the façade skin, offering an almost infinite number of possibilities for aesthetics and allowing the architect or designer the ability to form a structural, minimalistic or changeable façade skin in the sustainable built environment.

Qbiss Air is more than two times thinner than most typical glass curtain wall systems, but with the thermal and sound insulation 50% higher. From a sustainable perspective Qbiss Air also excels being 96% recyclable and emits at least 50% less carbon dioxide (CO2) during production compared to typical glass curtain wall systems. It therefore represents the ideal solution for the advanced building envelope.
