A combination of high aesthetics, elegance and sustainability with excellent quality
The luxurious hotel of Asterias Suites was built in the Kassandra peninsula of Halkidiki in Northern Greece. The unit consists of 48 individual suites, built on a 25.000 m2 plot. All the suites are arranged along the beach on one side and extend towards the yacht marina on the other, taking advantage of the best and extraordinary views. Each unit has a private garden or spacious veranda, giving the interior the feeling of continuity and natural escape to the outside, while, at the same time the sunlight and the blue colour of the sea invade pleasantly through the large openings.
The central building with the reception desk, the offices, the restaurant, the bar and the necessary auxiliary spaces, extend towards the marina, creating interesting indoor and outdoor spaces. In the area between the central building and the suites, there is a large exterior swimming pool and a smaller one for the kids, with a wonderful panoramic view of the marina.
The design of the buildings is simple, elegant, with clear geometrical forms in absolute harmony with the beautiful natural environment, creating a unique result. The local materials used in combination with the thick stone walls, the pergolas and the appropriate orientation of the volumes; ensure natural ventilation and lighting and generally the sustainability of the whole complex.
