Etihad Towers is a luxury mixed-use development located at Corniche West, Abu Dhabi
The development comprises 5 towers above a 5 level podium and 4 levels of basement. The composition of the towers is as follows: Tower 1 has 63 levels which includes the Jumeirah 5 star, 382 room luxury hotel and the Jumeirah 189 luxury serviced apartments. Towers 2, 4 and 5 have 76 levels (305 metres) containing a total of 885 residential apartments. Tower 3 has a total of 63 levels, which includes 46,000m² of offices.
The podium contains the hotel lobby, 1800m² ballroom/convention centre, meeting rooms, restaurants, bars, lounges and wellness/spa centre.
DBI Design oriented the 5 towers in such a way as to allow all towers to have unhindered views of the Gulf, and the surrounding area, including the world famous Emirates Palace Hotel, and its spacious landscaped grounds.
The design of the Jumeirah Hotel is the epitome of contemporary architectural and interior design. The arrival is via a spectacular landscaped ramp leading to the level 4 porte cochere, featuring an ‘oculus' - a large illuminated ceiling feature. From this point the guest enters the enormous 12 metre high grand lobby with a vast frameless glass curtain wall providing unrestricted views to the Arabian Gulf.
There are over 12 specialist restaurant and bar facilities, located throughout the podium and towers, covering a range of cuisine from Japanese, French, through to seafood and traditional Middle Eastern.
Within the podium, is the state-of-the-art conference facility, with the ballroom as the centre-piece. The ballroom, at over 1800m² in size, with 8.5m high ceilings, has the capacity to serve 1000 guests in banquet mode, and has the capacity to hold 1400 guests in conference mode.
The podium is home to a luxury spa (Wellness Centre) and gym and 2 levels of international brand designer boutiques for the Shopping at Etihad Towers experience.
The interior design of the guest rooms complements the sleek, iconic form of the architecture with contemporary lines and luxurious materials, including some of the rarest marble and stone from around the world.
